Nick Wettlaufer Email to City Council, April 20, 2014

Dear council members, I recently read an article in the tribune that described a proposal to build transitional housing in the old sunny acres building on the east side of Johnson ave. I am a current resident of a nearby street and must admit this plan surprised me. I really urge the council to keep the community informed and to consider the residents comments before allowing such a project. My family and I moved to this residence about 1 year ago and before that we lived 3 doors down from a small transitional home here in SLO. There were a few minor incidents including a confused and perhaps intoxicated young man that had made his way uninvited into my home. I was able to escort him out without incident but this was concerning. The scale of the proposal is concerning. Please consider my comments.
