Dear Mayor Marx, and City Council Members,

I am a resident of Fixlini Street, roughly 2 blocks from the proposed sight of Transition Mental Health Services “wellness community.” My concern for the impact both on the physical land and on the neighboring community is great.  For one, I frequently walk my dogs in the area and would be sad to see the open nature taken away.  Secondly, I’m concerned for the neighborhood safety if so many unsupervised mentally ill individuals move into the area.  While I appreciate that these patients need treatment, I am fearful that this facility will be on too large a scale and would be better located away from a neighborhood.

I hope you will consider the needs and worries of the neighborhood citizens before approving this proposal.
